You may hear my close friends and family call me Nikki - either is fine with me!  I have dedicated over twelve years to honing my skills behind the chair. My passion for hair began at a young age when I self-taught myself how to braid. In high school, I quickly became the go-to girl for every dance! I take pride in my ability to transform hair into works of art, whether it's intricate braids, elegant updos, or trendy cuts and colors. Starting my career in cosmetology school proved to be a fast-paced journey.  As I honed my skills, I took on numerous opportunities to build my portfolio, with a particular focus on weddings and photo shoots. My early achievements in cosmetology school set a strong foundation for my career and propelled me towards a path of continuous growth and success. The recognition and success I gained from these experiences led me to take my career to the next level by competing as a national updo artist. Through years of practice and experience, I have perfected my craft and developed a deep understanding of different hair textures, styles, and techniques. Being on location for the big day and being a part of making a bride feel her most beautiful is truly a joy for me. I find great satisfaction in expanding my knowledge and skills in various aspects of my profession, from bridal work to cutting and coloring hair. When I’m not in the salon I’m spending time with my only child; a Boxer named Brinley or catching live music every chance I get.
